Hi
f(x) = x^4 - x^3 - 7x^2 + 5x + 10
1 + 1 - 7 -5 + 10 = 0, 16-8-28+10+10 = 0
Using Synthetic Division (x = -1 and x = 2 are roots found by plug and play)
-1 1 -1 -7 5 10
-1 2 5 -10
1 -2 -5 10 0
2 2 0 -10
1 0 -5 0
f(x) = (x+1)(x-2)(x^2 - 5)= 0
x = -1, 2, 2.24, - 2.24
