if you have 21x%2F2+=+2%28x-1%29+%2B+3, than first multiply 2%28x-1%29
21x%2F2+=+2x-2+%2B+3
21x%2F2+=+2x++%2B+1..now both sides multiply by 2
2%2821x%2F2%29+=+2%282x++%2B+1%29
cross%282%29%2821x%2Fcross%282%29%29+=+4x++%2B+2
+21x++=+4x++%2B+2......add -4x to both sides
+21x+-4x+=+4x-4x++%2B+2
+17x+=+2
++x+=+2%2F17
