The volume of the box is represented by (x^2+5x+6)(x+5). Find the polynomial that represents the area of the bottom of the box. This question is from textbook Beginning Algebra
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The area of the box is equal to the product of the two dimensions of the base multiplied by the height.
Looking at your volume expression (x^2+5x+6)(x+5),
The height seems to be (x+5) as this is one-dimensional (a length)
The two-dimensional term (area term) (x^2+5x+6) must be the area of the bootom of the box.
I hope this helps,
Adam
