You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
Let z = r-s
So we go from 7(r-s)+t(r-s) to 7z+tz
Now factor out a 'z' to get z(7+t)
Finally, plug in z=r-s to get (r-s)(7+t)
So 7(r-s)+t(r-s) factors to (r-s)(7+t)
In other words, 7(r-s)+t(r-s) = (r-s)(7+t)
