9x%5E2-4.1%5E2=0
9x%5E2-16.81=0
++++%2B16.81+%2B16.81
9x%5E2=16.81
9x%5E2%2F9=16.81%2F9
x%5E2=1.9
x=1.3


7x-5.4=0
++%2B5.4+%2B5.4
7x=5.4
7x%2F7=5.4%2F7
x=0.8
yeah, i think that it's seriously wrong, so help!

You cannot use the property of distributive for the exponent.
(9x-4.1)^2
is the same as:
(9x - 4.1)(9x - 4.1)
81x^2 - 36.9x - 36.9x + 16.81
81x^2 - 73.8x + 16.81
:so:
%2881x%5E2+-+73.8x+%2B+16.81%29%287x+-+5.4%29
That is your answer.... To simplify further, I will let you foil it.
