1st: Look for a common factor
2nd: Look for the "difference of squares"
3rd: Look for a "perfect trinomial square"
4th: Look for a difference or sum of cubes
5th: If there are 4 terms, see if you can get the same factor from two
of the terms and then the other two terms.
6th: Use the quadratic formula to find roots (a,b,c..) then form the
factors (x-a), (x-b), (x-c)
7th: Factor using the AC Method
