"t" is the REMAINDER of division the numerator polynomial (2x^2 + 5x - 7) by the denominator binomial (x+2).
So, according to the REMAINDER theorem, the remainder of such division is the value
of the polynomial (2x^2 + 5x - 7) at x= -2, which is
2*(-2)^2 + 5*(-2) - 7 = 2*4 - 10 - 7 = -9.
Thus t = -9. ANSWER
