Divide both sides by 6.  You will get an equivalent equation


    x^5 - 8x^3 = 0.


Factor it, talking x^3 out of parentheses


    x^3*(x^2-8) = 0.


The roots are  x= 0  (of the multiplicity 3),  x = sqrt%288%29 = 2%2Asqrt%282%29  and  x = -sqrt%288%29 = -2%2Asqrt%282%29.
