You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a. A college debate club comprises of 7 boys and 7 girls. For a debate competition a team of two is to be selected.
In how many ways can the selection be made, if
i. both members are chosen from all?
Ans: # of pairs = 14C2 = (14*13)/2 = 7*13 = 91 ways
-------------------------------------------------------
ii. one is to be a girl and other a boy?
Ans: 7C1*7C1 = 7*7 = 49 ways
----------------------------------------------
iii. both members are chosen from girls.
Ans: 7C2 = (7*6)/2 = 21 ways
------------
