Question 366369: Hi, what does this solve to: The total resistance, R, for a parallel circuit with two resistors is 1/R = 1/s + 1/t. If s is increased by 3 units, and t is decreased by 2 units, what is 1/R Answer by rfer(16322) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Rt=(R1+R2)/R1*R2)
Rt=(2+3)/(2*3)
Rt=5/6
Rt=0.833
------------
Rt=(5+1)/(5*1)
Rt=5/6
Rt=0.833
I used the other equation for two parallel resistors.
I made up some numbers a put them in the equation.
The results remains the same.
