        If you do not know proportions (in case if you did not
        study them yet), you can use this reasoning.

72 good guys comprise 6 groups of 12 good guys, each.

Hence, there are 6 groups of 5 bad guys on the scene, each.

6 * 5 = 30,   so the ANSWER   is:     there were 30 bad guys.
