the measure of two adjacent angles of a parallelogram are in the ratio 5:4.find the measure of each of the angles of the parallelogram
-------
The sum of 2 adjacent angles of a parallelogram is 180 degrees.
-------
Equation:
The angles are 5x and 4x.
----
5x + 4x = 180 degrees
9x = 180
x = 20
----
5x = 100 degrees
4x = 80 degrees

Hi, my name is Aaron I am in 10th grade and im in honors trig/pre-calc.
In a //-ogram consecutive angles are supp. they are transversals in a way. Lets make an equation
5x=larger angle
4x=smaller angle

5x+4x=180
x=20
now plug back in to the original equations. The larger angles are 100, while the smaller ones are 80.
Hope I helped. I would really appreciate your recommendation, their are plenty of other things I could be doing rather then spending time on this site helping people. Good luck! :)
