You can put this solution on YOUR website! first you must make these improper fractions
you do this my multiplying the denominator to the
whole number and adding the numerator to that number
and you would leave the denominator as is.
3 1/2* 2 1/4
7/2*9/4
nothing cancels out
so you multiply both numerators and denominators
56/8
now simplified
the answer is
8
