You can put this solution on YOUR website! L=2W+2
AREA=LW
144=(2W+2)W
144=2W^2+2W
2W^2+2W-144=0
2(W^2+W-72)=0
2(W-8)(W+9)=0
W-8=0
W=8 ANS. FOR THE WIDTH
L=2*8+2=16+2=18 ANS. FOR THE LENGTH.
PROOF:
144=8*18
144=144
