Then, since the units digit is 2 more than the tens digit, the tens digit is x-2.

The number itself is 10 times the tens digit, plus the units digit: 10(x-2)+x = 11x-20.

The number, divided by 7 times the units digit, gives a quotient of 1 and a remainder of 4. The means the number is 4 more than 7 times the units digit:

11x-20+=+7x%2B4
