Let the two numbers be n & n+2(obviously the difference between 2 consequtive odd numbers is 2)
according to question 2x(Bigger no.) = 13 less than 3x(n)
or 2x(n+2)= 3n-13
n=17
the no. are 17 & 19
In algebra after we have identified the needed variable, we should understand question to frame the equation. Leave fear on one side while attempting mathematics and it becomes commonsense.
