You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Lets make C=Cost of renting the car, m=miles driven
So the relationship of C in terms of m would be:
C=100%2B0.1m \
If she only rented the car for a week.
Otherwise another w=week variable will be added.
C=100w%2B0.1m
This equation can not be solved unless a number of weeks is given, so lets presume she drove it all in one week.
----------------------------
C=100%2B0.1m
Inserting C=175 which is the total amount spent
175=100%2B0.1m
Subtracting 100 from each side
175-100=100%2B0.1m-100
75=0.1m
Divide by 0.1 which is also equal to multiplying bu 10.
750=m
So Glandy can drive a total of 750 miles if she drives in one week.
