You can put this solution on YOUR website! 2.5 sq ft is what I will assume.
2 miles 5 feet deep on both sides of the road is an area 2 miles by 10 feet or 10,560*10=105,600 ft^2.
divide that by 2.5, and the answer is 42,240 people.
