then because "There are 58 more quarters than dimes" we have
d+58 = number of quarters

.10d + .25(d+58) = 22.55
.10d + .25d+14.5 = 22.55
.35d+14.5 = 22.55
.35d = 8.05
d = 23 (number of dimes)
