You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let x= width of the rectangle
5x= length of the rectangle
2(W) + 2(L) = P
2(x) + 2(5x)=240
2x+10x=240
12x=240
x=240/12=20 cm. Width
5x=5(20)=100 cm. Length
Check: 2*20+2*100=40+200=240 It checks!

let width be xcm
length = 5x
..
Perimeter = 2L+2W
240=2x+2*5x
240 =12x
x=20 the width
length = 5x= 100 cm
