You can put this solution on YOUR website!
how many liters of 24% salt solution must be added to 76 liters of 64% salt solution to get a 43% salt solution?
how do you do this kind of problem???
-----------------
Add x liters of 24% salt
The total will be x + 76 liters (total solution)
x*0.24 + 76*0.64 = (x+76)*0.43 (total salt)
24x + 76*64 = 43*(x+76) = 43x + 43*76
24x + 21*76 = 43x
19x = 21*76
x = 21*4 = 84 liters

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(24%)(x) + (64%)(76) = (43%)(x + 76)

multiplying by 100 to clear percentages ___ 24x + (64*76) = 43x + (43*76)

21 * 76 = 19x ___ 84 = x
