You can put this solution on YOUR website! two jets leave chicago at 8am one traveling north at 650 km/h and the other at 750km/h. at what time will they be 3500 km apart. ive tried w+8(w+1)=w(w+6)+ 56, but the problem seemed to go in circles. please help me!!!
----------------
Are they both travelling north? If so, the difference in the speeds is 100 kmh, so they'll be 3500 km apart in 35 hours. If the 2nd plane is going some other direction, you should say so.
