You can put this solution on YOUR website!
One angle of a triangle has a measure of 80 degree and the measures of the outer two angles are in a ratio of 2 to 3.Find the measures of the other two angles. Please show how you get the answer, thank you in advance.
-------------
2 to 3 is the same as 2x to 3x.
------------------------------
Since the three angles add to 180 degrees you get the following equation:
EQUATION:
80 + 2x + 3x = 180
2x+3x = 100
5x = 100
x = 20
One of the angles is 2x=40 degrees
The other is 3x=60 degrees
