SOLUTION:
Let capacity of smaller tank be S
Then capacity of larger tank = S + 300
At 2%2F3 capacity, smaller tank will have: matrix%281%2C5%2C+%282%2F3%29%2C+of%2C+S%2C+or%2C+2S%2F3%29
At 1%2F2 capacity, larger tank will have: matrix%281%2C5%2C+%281%2F2%29%2C+of%2C+S+%2B+300%2C+or%2C+%28S+%2B+300%29%2F2%29
Since the above amounts are equal, we get: 2S%2F3+=+%28S+%2B+300%29%2F2
2(2S) = 3(S + 300) ------- Cross-multiplying
4S = 3S + 900
S, or capacity of smaller tank = highlight_green%28matrix%281%2C2%2C+900%2C+L%29%29
Capacity of larger tank =
