6x-2x:7x+2x, and that is 4:9
9x-35=4x, because B had 35 more than A. If 35 are removed from B, its number is the same as A.
5x=35
x=7
The original A had 42 apples ANSWER
B had 49
Then there were 28 and 63 after moving 14 apples. That difference is 35.
