The outer section. called "Bleachers" has seats arranged in rows of 70 and tickets cost $60. There are 10 more rows in the 'Dress Circle' than the 'Bleachers' The seating capacity at the concert hall is 7000
A) Develop equations to represent the seating capacity given for the concert hall.
b)Using both the Elimination and Substitution method of Simultaneous Equations, give an algebraic solution the the number of seating in the bleachers and dress circle of the Concert Hall
d) If every ticket is sold to a concert at this hall what will the total receipts for the concert amount to?

A) d = rows in "Dress Circle" ; b = rows in bleachers
___ d = b + 10
___ 40d + 70b = 7000 ___4d + 7b = 700

b) substituting ___ 4(b + 10) + 7b = 700 ___ 11b = 660 ___ b = 60
___ substituting ___ d = (60) + 10 = 70

d seats = 40 * 70 = 2800
b seats = 60 * 70 = 4200

d) total receipts = 2800($150) + 4200($60)
