an order comes in for a total of 100 cartons, so there was %28100-x%29 cartons of erasers
Price for all is 6x%2B3%28100-x%29=360
6x%2B300-3x=360
3x=360-300
3x=60
x=60%2F3
x=20 cartons of pencils
