You can put this solution on YOUR website!
jameel has a total of 3500 invested in 10%, 12% and 15% bonds.
a + b + c = 3500
he receives the same amount of interest on the 10% bonds as on the 15% bonds.
.10a = .15c
a = .15c/.10
a = 1.5c
:
interest on the 12% bonds is 1200.
.12b = 1200
b = 1200/.12
b = 10000
A this point we know something is wrong, the total was given as only 3500
Did you mean the total is $35000???

If you are going to take the time to request help on a problem, then take the time to look at your post before you post it. If you don't post it correctly, you are wasting both your time and ours.

$1200 interest on an investment at 12% means the amount invested is $10,000. But you say the total amount invested is $3500.

Clearly not possible....

NOT WORTH getting into any calculations since this is impossible! Why? $10,000 has to be invested in the 12% bond in order for it to yield $1,200.
Now, what's the total you claim Jameel invested?
