Hi there,
If you make the number of
pictures Anita took = 'x'
Drew took 16 + 3x pictures
Together they took 124 pictures
x + (16 + 3x) = 124
x + 16 + 3x = 124
Collect like terms:
4x = 124 - 16
4x = 108
x = 27
Anita took 27 pictures
Drew took 97 pictures
