Question 895321: please help me with this
y^2= (-3)^2 / 2x+1
find the intercepts

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y^2= (-3)^2 / 2x+1
find the intercepts
------
y-intercept::
Let x = 0
Then y^2 = 9/1 = 9
And y = +3 or y = -3
-----
Y-intercepts are (0,3) and (0,-3)
-------------------------------------
x-interdepts::
Let y = 0
Then 0 = 9/(2x+1)
Note:: The right side is zero only if the numerator is zero.
Conclusion:: There is no x-intercept.
