Question 408069: Solve this system of equations
5%5E%282x%2B3y%29+=+25
2%5E%28x%2B3y%29+=+64
If I had to guess, I would say that it has to do with the square root of 25 and 64, but I can't remember how to get the x or y out of the exponent.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since 5%5E2+=+25 and 2%5E6+=+64, we have

2x+%2B+3y+=+2
x+%2B+3y+=+6

Solving (preferably by multiplying bottom equation by -1 and eliminating), we get x = -4 and y = 10/3.
