Question 1102478: please help me solve this question: if a typist can type 125 pages, 36 lines each, 11 word to each line in 5 days, how many pages of 30 lines each and 12 words to each line can he type in 6 days?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(125 pages)(36 lines/page)(11 words/line) = 4500 words
The typist can type 4500 words in 5 days,
and that is (4500 words) / (5 days) = 900 words/day.
In 6 days, he can type (6 days)(900 words/day) = 5400 words.
If each of the pages he is to type in those 6 days
has 30 lines, and each line has 12 words, there are
(30 lines/page)(12 words/line) = 360 words/page.
5400+words%2F%22360+words+%2F+page%22=5400%2F360pages=15%261%2F2pages .
