Question 22749: what is the effect of slope, y-intercept and the x-intercept?
how does the slope, y-intercept and x-inercept changes?
Answer by Longtolive(6) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Slope is your rise over run. It is affected by both x and y intercepts, for example" If you have the coordinates (3,4) you go three right and plot a point. Then you go four up from the orgin(0,0) and plot another point. You draw a line from point to point. Then you count how many points up (4) and then over(3) and that is your slope. It should be 4 over 3 as a fraction. So you see if your y and x intercept changes then so does your slope.
