I need to solve the following equations for y:
-5x-4y=4
3x+y=6
for the 1st equation -5x-4y=4 I got an answer of y=-5/4X-1
for the 2nd equation 3x+y=6 I got an answer of y= -3x+6
on the 1st equation I didnt know if I should multiply the fraction by 4 if I do so wouldnt I have to multiply the 1st part of the equation also.
