to get from point M to point A from x=1 to x=-6 is simply finding difference 1-(-6)=7 and same for y where 2-(-6)=8. so from point M we went to the left 7 and down 8 to get point A. To find point N do the opposite from point M. go to the right 7 and up 8 to get 1+7=8 and 2+8=10 making the new point N(8,10)
