Question 796956: How to solve absolute value inequalities ? 1) /4x+7/+5>4 /= absolute value , last but not least can you show me step by step I really need help and don't have anybody to show me. Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
This one just solves itself, really. Note that no matter what value you put in for x, the smallest the absolute value function can be is zero. But if you add 5 to zero, then the answer is ALWAYS larger than 4. 5 is larger than 4, so anything added to 5 has to still be larger than 4. The solution set is all real numbers.
