You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you are given an inequality that is solved just as equality, only difference is a number of solutions, equality will have only one solution because we have first degree function, and inequality many solutions
if you solve it as an equality, you will have
2x+=+-5+...=>...x+=+-5%2F2+=>...x+=+-2.5+...one solution (it's vertical line)

if you solve it as an inequality, you will have
2x+%3E+-5+....=>...x+%3E+-5%2F2+=>...x+%3E+-2.5+....solutions: all x greater than -2.5

+graph%28+600%2C600%2C+++-6%2C+6%2C+-6%2C+6%2Cx+%3E+-2.5%29+
solution set:

(-2.5,infinity)

Well here is the way i would solve it
2x > -5
divide by 2 on both sides and you are left with x>-2.5
and you could graph that to get a vertical line on (-2.5,0)
