You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hello
3x + y = 9
When u have to find the x intercept, put x = 0
When u have to find the y intercept, put y = 0
x intercept:
3x + y = 9
3x +0 = 9
x = 9/3
x = 3
Ordered pair = (3,0)
---------------------------------------
y intercept:
3x + y = 9
3(0)+ y = 9
y = 9
Ordered pair = (0,9)
Now make a point on x axis at 3 and on y axis at 9,
draw a line through them.
and u are done! =D

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let x=0, and find y: 3*0 + y=9, so y=9. The point is (0,9).

Let y=0, and find x: 3x+0=9, so x=3. The point is (3,0).

The graph should look like this:
