The slope of the line x=-1 is 0. This line is vertical to the y-axis, therefore, the slope is 0.
It is 0 because the line that x=-1 makes is a straight line going through x=-1, it does not pass through two points needed to find the slope of a line.
The slope of a line is delta(y)/delta(x). The line has to pass through two points with coordinates (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) and this is a line whose equation is simply x=-1, so there is no slope, it's just zero.
You know, I made a mistake, it's not 0. the slope doesn't exist actually because there is no y value, and the x value would be 0 and you cannot divide by 0, so the slope doesn't exist. Sorry about that.
