Question 25999: how do you graph y=1/3x+1
Answer by Linz(9) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Notice this is in slope-intercept form.
1 is the y-intercept
1/3x is the slope
find 1 on the y-intercept and mark the spot, then use the slope to plot more points. Plot at least three to be sure your line is right. to use the slope 1/3,
you need to start at your first mark and go up 1 and to the right 3 then mark that spot and do it again and draw a line through the points!
Hope this helps!
