You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The slope of a line that is perpendicular to (2,4)(-1,0) is
---
The slope determined by those two points is (4-0)/(2--1) = 4/3
--------------
The slope of any perpendicular line must be -3/4

Hello There,
What you would do here is you would put these points on a graph.
I cannot figure out how to get you a picture so i will just have to tell you the answer :
This line (2,4 and -1,0) has a positive slope so the OTHER slope would have to be negative.
hope this helps,
