You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do I graph 4x=-9
:
make into a standard equation
4x + 9 = 0
y = 4x + 9
:
Its a linear equation so only need two points, but a 3rd one will confirm it
Graph these points and join them, should be straight line
Choose some low values near 0 for x
x | y
------
-2 | 1, (4*-2) + 9
0 | 9
+2 | 17

One dimension (one number line) or two dimensions?

4x=-9
x=-9%2F4
x=-2%261%2F4-----------just a single point on a number line.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How do I graph 4x=-9
---------------
4x=-9
x = -9/4 = -2.25
-----
For any value of y, x = -2.25
Pick 2 values of y.
Plot the 2 points.
Draw a line thru them.
