you just graph the line first
y+=2x%2B+1
x|y
0|1...... y+=2%2A0%2B+1=1
0|0..... 0+=2x%2B+1->2x=-1->x=-1%2F2
plot these points and draw a dashed line through because the points that lie on line are not part of solution since you are given y+%3E2x%2B+1
shade everything to the left from dashed line
