Question 1173306: Sketch the graph of each function. Show the coordinates of the vertex, the equation of the axis of symmetry, and the coordinates of two other points on the curve.
y=1/2x^2+2x+1
y=-3x^2+18x-25

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
vertex is where x=-b/2a so -2/1 or x=-2. That is also the equation of symmetry.
one coordinate is when x=0, y=1 (0, 1)
another is when x=1, y=3.5 (1, 3.5)
vertex is y=-1 when x=-2 (-2, -1)

vertex is where x=-18/-6 or 3; axis of symmetry is x= 3
and y=2 so (3, 2)
x=0 y=-25 os (0. -25)
x=1 y=-10 so (1, -10)
