You can put this solution on YOUR website!

if B is between A and C,than
AC=AB%2BBC

if AB=3x%2B2x...for some reason, I believe you have AB=3x%2B2 here , BC=35-x, AC=73, than

73=%283x%2B2%29%2B%2835-x%29

73=3x%2B2%2B35-x
73-35-2=2x
36=2x
36%2F2=x
18=x

so, AB=3x%2B2=3%2A18%2B2=56 and BC=35-x=35-18=17
check
73=56%2B17
73=73

Given: B is between A and C, AB=3x+2x, BC=35-x, AC=73
Prove: x=7
_________❤________________❤_________________❤_____________
AB+BC=AC
3x+2x+35-x=73
5x-x=73-35
4x=73-35
4x=38
x=38/4
x=9.5 x not equal 7
_________❤________________❤_________________❤______________
AB=BC
3x+2x=35-x
5x+x=35
6x=35
x about equal 5.83
so x not equal
