Angle B congruent to Angle C (alternate interior angles of parallel lines AB and CD)
Angle D congruent to Angle C (alternate interior angles of parallel lines BC and DE)
Angle B congruent to Angle D by the Transitive Property of Equality (If a = b and b = c, then a = c).

Use the fact there are two sets of parallel lines to prove this.
First, use alternate interior angles to show angle B is equal to angle C.
Then use a different set of alternate interior angles using the other set of parallel lines to show angle C is also equal to angle D.
If B=C and C=D, then B=D
