Question 321391: If the diameter of a circle is
1.3 x 10-12 meters, then what is its radius?
Sorry not sure how to do powers on here, that is suppose to read 1.3 x 10 to the negative 12th power...

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The radius is 1/2 the diameter
given:
diameter = 1.3%2A10%5E%28-12%29
radius = .5%2A1.3%2A10%5E%28-12%29+=+.65%2A10%5E%28-12%29
radius = 6.5%2A10%5E%28-13%29 answer
This is now in "scientific notation"
Notice that I increased .65 by a factor of 10,
so I had to decrease 10%5E%28-12%29 by a factor of 10
