Question 398776: hi, I was having some trouble with this problem and was wondering if you could help...
It went like this:
2sinβcosβ/cosβ ²-sinβ ²
and I have to transform it into the equation: 2tanβ/1-tanβ²
I know the top part of the equation will become sinβcosβ+sinβcosβ, but what can I change cosβ ²-sinβ ² into?
I'm stumped and hope you can help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
= sin(2B)/cos(2B)
= tan(2B)
= 2tan(B)/(1 - tan^2(B))

Using double-angle, then half-angle formulas. There are other ways to do it, but I use what I remember.
