Question 1107826: Hello,I am working on Probabilities involving two dice, there are two Events P(A), which I understand how to do, But I am not sure as to how to get the answer for P(B).... Event A=The sum is greater than 8
Event B=The sum is not divisible by 5.I know how to get the first answer, but not the second answer, and there are 36 Outcomes.Thank you so much for your help.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Sum is greater than 8 includes sums of 9,10,11,12, which have 10 outcomes.
Not divisible by 5 are the sums equaling 2,3,4,6,7,8,9,11,12
Those have 36-(4+3) or 29 outcomes
The seven missing are 41/14/23/32/55/46/64
It wasn't stated what the relation of the two events are. If they are conjoined, then there would be 7 outcomes, 36/45/54/63/56/65/66
