Question 73946: WHAT IS THE DOMAIN OF THIS FUNCTION AND THE VERTICAL ASYMPTOTES
x^2-2x/3x^3-3x^2-6x this is what i got in lowest terms x/3x(x+1) is this right?
so will the vertical asymptotes be x=0 and x=-1?
please help me thank you:)

You can put this solution on YOUR website! WHAT IS THE DOMAIN OF THIS FUNCTION AND THE VERTICAL ASYMPTOTES
x^2-2x/3x^3-3x^2-6x this is what i got in lowest terms x/3x(x+1) is this right?
so will the vertical asymptotes be x=0 and x=-1?
------------------
Factor where you can to get:
x(x-2)/[3x(x-2)(x+1)]
--------
Yes, the function has a "hole" at x=2 and vertical asymptotes at x=0 and x=-1.
The domain is all real numbers except x= -1, 0, 2
--------
